While most great spec projects make the rounds among the Internet’s creative community, but not many see the light of day.

Here is a great elision to that case: Italian designer Marco Sodano received global praise for his creative pixilation of famous paintings remade with Legos. Marco Sadona said” I want to convey the belief that every child with Lego can become great artists like Da Vinci and Vermeer”

The official versions (largely similar but for the word “Imagine” embedded at the top left) were produced by agency Geometry Global in Hong Kong, with Sodano as art director.

With 6 days to go for the 2014 FIFA World Cup, before the goals, before the glory, there is an unseen game played in the locker room. Beats by Dre, which Apple confirmed it would buy for $3 billion, just released a lengthy ad called “The Game before the Game,” which may very well literally give you chills.

A young man, urged by wise words from his father echoing in his headphones, prepares for battle and for glory in the World Cup. The young man happens to be Brazilian football hero Neymar Jr, but he could be anyone. He could be an amateur or the world’s most famous professional. The point is, he is in the zone, and he is about to play the biggest match of his life.

What happens next is well worth the five minutes of your life it will take to watch the full video. Among the footballing stars featured in this advertisement are: Spain’s Cesc Fabregas, who kisses the ring his girlfriend gave him; Uruguay’s Luis Suarez, who kisses the tattoo on his wrist of his son and daughter’s names; and Mexico’s Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez, who prays on his knees as his father taught him. (You’ll also see Bacary Sagna, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Blaise Matuidi, Daniel Sturridge, Jozy Altidore, Mario Gotze and Robin Van Persie.)
